Stupid Hat

All I want to do is play outdoors in the sun and water. For some reason my Mom constantly makes me wear a shade hat. She is always adjusting it to make sure it is shading my face just right. Other times it falls into my face so I can't see or have any fun at all. I did manage to have a fun day at the beach with my buddy Nate. But it would've been better without the hat.
I do look awfully cute in it though, kind of like an Australian babe

I guess it is alright because it matches my Daddy's hat. Anything that is okay with Daddy is okay with me.

I also had a fun time on my Papa's boat. Yes, there is that stinking hat again. But not only that, I also have to wear a life jacket - blah! On the bright side it is cooler than my jacket last year and doesn't quite ride up onto my neck as much. In case you forgot you can check out last year's model here. This year I have gotten to do a lot more driving the boat. I don't only like to drive the boat, I need to drive the boat and I let everyone know it.
Here I am driving the boat. I am adhering to boat etiquette and giving a big wave to passers by. Apparently there are two types of "waves" on the lake. The type in the water that rock the boat and the type I am displaying in the following picture.
Being on the boat all day is exhausting. All that driving and sun make me sleepy. Don't let the boat police see that I was asleep at the wheel.
