Fun With Daddy in California!

The first part of our vacation was lots of fun, hanging out with Momma, Daddy, Aunt Claire, and Uncle C.B. After we left them, we went on a LONG car ride to get to the hotel. We drove through mountains, deserts, and real big sections of farms with all sorts of vegetables. We passed trucks carrying tomatoes, onions, carrots, and lots of other tasty veggies. There were big farms with cool tractors helping to grow many different kinds of lettuces. The car ride to our cool hotel had lots of neat stuff to see, but I spent most of it sleeping, like I normally do on long car rides.

We got to our fancy hotel in Menlo Park in the afternoon. I like staying at hotels because they give me free cookies and Mom & Dad free wine to keep us all happy. Fresh chocolate chip cookies anyone? YES PLEASE!!
We also had fun swimming in the saltwater pool and the little hot steamy pool during the temperate California nights. Now that we are back home I still dream of those hotel nights. Sometimes I just say, "Let's go to the hotel." But Mom & Dad say that it is too far away and they won't take me there. I figure it doesn't hurt to ask.

During the days Mama had to go to a conference so Daddy & I had a lot of quality guy time together.

We took the fast train to go both to San Jose and to San Francisco and toured the many children's museums.

I got to be an honorary firefighter.

And ride on a very old carousel at Zeum in San Francisco.

I was a VIP in the "green room."

Played with a lego wall

Made some music
Made a music video

And like any respectable toddler after a long day of playing, fell fast asleep in my stroller.

BYE!!
