Bye Cali

Our last fun day in California we hit the road and headed for the coast. We got some recommendations from friends and locals alike. We took a journey through steep mountain roads until we finally arrived in a coastal town called Pescadero. We stopped at a the country store where they had delicious prawn pizza. Yummy! We got to sit in the back yard which had plenty of space for me to run and play with my new Californian friends. I quickly became the leader of the pack.
There was a cool band playing music and I went and generously offered a tip to their tip basket. After playing for quite some time Mom & Dad said it was time to leave. We left the country store and went to a goat farm where they make cheese. Mmmm... goat cheese is delicious! They let me pet the baby goats which they called kids (weird huh?). They were cute but they were also smelly and covered with flies. Yuck. So my favorite part of the goat cheese farm was when I got to sit on a real tractor. Afterwards we headed to the beaches. We went to Pescadero and Half Moon Bay beaches. They were different from other beaches I have been to. There were lots of rocks and crabs crawling around in the sand.

The water was FREEZING!! There were lots of wildflowers so I picked one for my Mommy on the way out. We were heading to dinner when we spotted a straw maze. Daddy prides himself on his maze skills so we decided to stop. Turns out Mama won!! That's okay though because I had a fun time and got to ride on a choo-choo train, play on a firetruck, and pet a real cow!

I will miss California for all of its nice weather, great times, family, friends, and fun stuff.
