Luckily, this dragon and this alligator weren't having any fights. Instead we gave each other hugs and had a great time (no, we are not kissing - that would not be fitting for a dragon OR an alligator).

Here we are roaring (we weren't sure what an alligator says, so we went with "roar").

I had the magnificent idea to take the Escalade out for trick or treating. I would drive of course.
"What!?!! We can't take the Escalade? Why not???"
Our parents said that all the other kids would be jealous if we got to ride around in a car, them having to walk and all. So we compromised and decided to ride in the wagon, which isn't bad either. Here I am protecting my candy from Nate the Hungry Alligator.

This was our first stop on the candy trail. We had no idea what was going on at this point.

Soon we would discover the wonder of Halloween, going door to door saying please and getting buckets of candy

Mmmm....a little Reese's cup. I think I will eat it foil and all (it actually had a weird texture and metallic taste to it - I wouldn't recommend this from here on out!)
We loved Halloween and can hardly wait until next year.
Thomas,
ReplyDeleteI remember your daddy and Auntie Clair trick or treating at my house. Daddy was never as cool as a dragon. Glad you had fun. Janet J
Just wait, as the years go by you will enjoy trick-or-treating even more. OH, and don't eat the candy with the wrapper still on it, it totally ruins the sweet taste. Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture from the back in the Escalade. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteMy parents ate all my candy....yours?
